Job Summary

Provides oversight and direction of clinical operational functions for the Correctional Health Services inside the Harris County Sheriff's Office. This position operates as the conduit between Executive Leadership, custody leadership, and the Correctional Health directors' triad to: ensure appropriate governance structure exists, promote a collaborative performance culture, ensure Correctional Health's goals are in alignment with the organization's strategic plan and achieve the goals, and ensure compliance adherence to policies, procedures, regulations and established metrics. This position must also work collaboratively with system and inpatient leadership to represent Correctional Health Services to meet system initiatives. This is accomplished by monitoring the operations and strategy within clinical and non-clinical service lines. The Administrative Director, Correctional Health Clinical Operations must have strong team management skills in a multispecialty practice and be proficient with operational analysis, financial analysis, and performance improvement development and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees:
Masters of Healthcare Administration, Master of Business Admin (OR) Masters of Nursing

License & Certifications: CCHP certification, preferred

Work Experience:
Seven (7) Years Work Experience administrative experience in a large health care system preferably within a correctional health environment. Must be knowledgeable of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and Texas Commission on Jail Standards, with experience of successful implementation these Standards within a correctional facility.

Management Experience:
Five (5) Years of Management Experience Or 5 or more years of practice management and supervisory experience in a Correctional Health environment and/or healthcare system of ten (10) or more providers.
