Job Summary:
Collaborates with the Nurse Manger to enhance the quality of care, improve staff performance and mentor the nursing staff while supervising the day-to-day activities of the assigned area. Provides leadership to ensure the smooth operation for the area. Enhances the interdisciplinary and interdepartmental relationships within the area, services and hospital or clinic.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a BSN or MSN Plan.
Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.

Work Experience (Years and Area): 2 years clinical in area of responsibility

Management Experience (Years and Area): Charge nurse or leadership experience in area of responsibility preferred

Equipment Operated: Minor and Major equipment specific to the area

Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports )
