JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager II - Medical Capital is responsible for managing resources and controlling multiple or bundled large strategic medical equipment projects. Ensures each medical equipment project is carried out as planned in terms of objectives, time and financial constraints, and organizational policies and procedures. Coordinates and leads all project activities for equipment procurement; conducts administrative utilization review and evaluations, clinical and business stakeholder analysis. Leads activities related to product/equipment selection and standardization. The Project Manager I and the Medical Capital Coordinator report directly to the Project Manager II - Medical Capital.

Please note that the highly preferred candidate needs to have significant exposure to fixed Imaging Equipment type - MRI ($1million - $3million unit cost), CT($1million - $3million unit cost), Rad Fluro rooms, IR Imaging Rooms, Cath Lab) Project Management, Fixed Imaging Equipment Technology, should be able to manage the design and site preparation portion in discussion with Architect , Construction Contractor and equipment manufacturer, and in addition to all of this also should be able to manage the multiple pieces of IT integration efforts needed - networking, PACS, EMR and other needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience : Ten (10) years related industry experience.

Management Experience : Six (6) years of experience in support management role.
