Community Health Choice, Inc. (Community) is a non-profit managed care organization (MCO), licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance. Through its network of more than 10,000 providers and 94 hospitals, Community serves over 400,000 Members with the following programs:

Medicaid State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) program for low-income children and pregnant women

Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the children of low-income parents, which includes CHIP Perinatal benefits for unborn children of pregnant women who do not qualify for Medicaid STAR

Health Insurance Marketplace Plans that offer individual health coverage that includes preventive care, emergency services, prescription drugs, and hospitalization available to all, regardless of pre-existing conditions.

Community Health Choice (HMO D-SNP), a Medicare Advantage Dual Special Needs plan for people with both Medicare and Medicaid that combines Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, and Medicaid benefits with additional health benefits like dental, vision, transportation, and more.

Job Description: HR BUSINESS PARTNER

JOB SUMMARY: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for shaping and executing talent strategies and plans that are aligned with the culture and overall employee experience to drive business outcomes. The HRBP anticipates human resources needs by using data analytics and industry trending and formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's, operations, financial position, midrange plans, culture, and competition. The HRBP consistently maintains a level of communication and execution aligned with Community's core values and mission and creates a work environment that fosters respect, positive morale, and high values.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
Bachelors degree in human resources, Business or Behavioral Science or related field.
Work Experience (Years and Area): 3 - 5 years human resources experience and in-depth working knowledge and experience as a HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist.
Proven ability to provide strategic direction and input to business leaders regarding overall people strategies that support the culture, company direction, and the growth needs of the business and its employees.
Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems by using sound judgment consistent with Community's culture, standards, practices.
Certified HR Professional (PHR or SPHR) preferred or HR Business Partner Certification.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software
