JOB SUMMARY:
Performs moderate and selected high complexity tests on clinical laboratory specimens in various laboratory sections. Validates and report results of tests performed. Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies. Participates in continuing education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Associate Degree/ Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science Biology, Chemistry, or Physics/Certification Medical Lab Technician from ASCP, NCA or AMT within one year of hire.

Work Experience: Recent Graduate must be certified by ASCP or equivalent Board within one year of graduation

Equipment Operated: PC, printers, scanners.
