Job Summary: Assist Ophthalmologist/Optometrist in screening, diagnosing and treating patients with eye disorders.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: HS/GED, Associates of Science in Ophthalmology preferred.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) from Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology
Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program

Work Experience (Years and Area): One year experience in Ophthalmology/Optometry setting preferred.

Equipment Operated: Preferred experience with operation of Diagnostic ophthalmology equipment including fundus camera, keratometer, A/B scan, IOL calculations, tonometry, visual fields, etc.

Special Requirements
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Bilingual Skills Required, Languages: Spanish and/or Viet

Other Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, P.C.

Work Schedule: Flexible

Other Requirements: Healthcare background preferred.
