JOB SUMMARY: Wheelchair Driver transports HCHD patients via wheelchair van and monitors patients in accordance with Harris Health System EMS Protocols.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School Diploma or GED; Texas Driver's License, American Red Cross - First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.

Work Experience (Years and Area): 2 years of experience in transporting wheelchair patient via motor vehicle

Equipment Operated: Wheelchairs, Wheelchairs Anchors & Wheelchair Lift.

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing Reports
