Job Summary
The Supplemental Compensation Analyst communicates and provides guidance on compensation services, initiatives, and programs to human resources professionals and customers. Participates in the management of daily compensation activities including the development, implementation and administration of compensation policies, programs and practices. Other specific compensation functions include: providing support to managers with ad hoc reports, performing special costing analyses, responding to specific inquiries relating to salary administration issues and the coordination and completion of compensation surveys, advising on and trouble-shooting operational aspects of the Compensation modules in PeopleSoft to include process improvements, documentation of functionality, maintaining system integrity, training and support of authorized users.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees / Work Experience / School Education:

Bachelor of Business Admin or Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Management or a related field (And) Two (2) Years Work Experience in human resources, compensation, accounting, financial analysis or related area

(Or)

High School Diploma or GED (And) Six (6) Years Work Experience in human resources, compensation, accounting, financial analysis or related area

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking); Writing /Composing: Correspondence/Reports

Proficiencies: P.C., MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical, Design, Mathematics, Research, Statistical

Work Schedule: Flexible, Eligible for Telecommute

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment

Other Requirements: Expert in PeopleSoft HR; MS Excel capabilities including managing large volumes of data, the use of pivot tables and V-look up functions required. Advanced MS Office (particularly with Access, Excel, Outlook, Project and Word), Visio and PeopleSoft skills required. Knowledge of relevant laws/statues impacting employee compensation; understanding of the customer's business and current issues; Microsoft Outlook; Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work; knowledge of advanced compensation principles and theory
