Job Summary

Cytology Technologist, Certified

Responsible for the microscopic assessment and evaluation of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, primarily for the diagnosis of malignant and pre-malignant conditions. Other responsibilities include gynecological and non-gynecological processing, FNA collection and preparation and participation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. Proficiency testing and continuing education required.



Minimum Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: B.S. Degree in Cytotechnology and ASCP Certification.

Communication Skills: Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports)

Other Skills: Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, P.C. 1
