JOB SUMMARY:

Procures, prepares, and stains tissue sections. Assists the pathologist in making microscopic diagnoses.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: H. S. Diploma/GED with 3 years histopathology experience within the last 10 years in the following areas: fixation, microtomy, processing, and staining OR Associate's Degree (AA) Histology or related field OR Recent graduate from an accredited Histology School

Work Experience (Years and Area): Recent graduate must pass ASCP or equivalent Board within one year of graduation
